Building Fanbytes' SEO Content Engine for Gen Z Marketing

 

Fanbytes was an award-winning Gen Z marketing agency, led by Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree Timothy Armoo. The agency worked with major record labels, Nike, Charlotte Tilbury, Vestiaire Collective, and the UK Government, delivering influencer campaigns, performance marketing, and creative strategy designed to reach the notoriously hard-to-reach Gen Z demographic.

I joined Fanbytes because I spotted a strategic opportunity: as TikTok exploded, search demand for influencer marketing services on the platform was surging, but nobody owned that space organically. 

As Senior Content Manager, (previously SEO and Content Manager), I led website content strategy and managed a team of copywriters to position Fanbytes as the authority in TikTok and Gen Z marketing. I grew organic traffic exponentially and transformed SEO into the business's primary lead source, generating over 50% of all inbound leads.

 

This work helped household-name brands discover Fanbytes through search at the exact moment they were looking for Gen Z marketing expertise.

Beyond SEO-driven articles that boosted organic traffic 10x in 12 months, I created strategic content partnerships and hero content pieces that positioned Fanbytes as the definitive authority on TikTok marketing. The Advanced TikTok Fashion Guide is one such example. It was a comprehensive resource that became a lead magnet for fashion brands looking to crack Gen Z audiences.
